Getting started with YVWhatsApp

Welcome to YVWhatsApp. This guide gets your workspace live in a few steps. You will need admin access and a phone number that is not already on a personal or business WhatsApp app.

1. Connect WhatsApp

Open the dashboard and click your business name at the top of the sidebar to open the Connect screen. Enter your WhatsApp number, WABA ID, Phone Number ID, and a permanent access token. Full details are in Connect WhatsApp Business API.

2. Configure the webhook

On the Connect screen, copy the Callback URL and Verify Token into your Meta app under WhatsApp, then Configuration, then Webhook. Verify and save, then subscribe to the messages field. This lets incoming messages reach your inbox.

3. Add your team

Invite agents and set roles under Settings, then Team. See Team and roles.

4. Create a template and send

Approved templates are required to start conversations. Read Message templates, then send your first broadcast.
