A Send WhatsApp button on each Lead/Contact lists your approved templates, pick one, fill the variables, send.
See the exact message with your values before it goes out.
Every send is saved to the contact's conversation, and optionally noted back on the Zoho record.
Optionally auto-send a template when a Lead is created or a field changes.
Log in to YVWhatsApp and go to Settings → Integrations → Zoho CRM. Copy your Webhook Secret, you'll paste it into Zoho in Step 3.
This single secret links your Zoho org to your YVWhatsApp workspace, no connection or developer setup required.
Open the private install link you received (or find YVWhatsApp in your Zoho Marketplace) and click Install. Choose to install for all users or selected profiles.
The extension adds a Send WhatsApp button to your Leads and Contacts, no Connections, Widgets, or Functions to configure.
Go to Setup → Marketplace → All → YVWhatsApp → Settings and fill in:

Save. Your secret is stored securely and used only server-side, it never appears in the browser.
That's it, in-record sending is live.
To auto-send a template (e.g. a welcome message on new Lead), go to Setup → Automation → Workflow Rules → Create Rule on Leads. Set a trigger, then under Actions → Function → Write your own (Deluge) paste the script provided by YVWhatsApp and set your apiUrl, webhookSecret, and templateName. Map number → ${Leads.Phone}, then Save & Execute with a test number.
Templates don't load / "Could not reach YVWhatsApp"
Your Webhook Secret isn't set. Open the extension's Settings and paste it into yvwa_secret.
"Webhook Secret is not set"
Same fix, add your secret in the extension Settings, then reopen the widget.
"No approved templates found"
Approve at least one template in WhatsApp/Meta, then reopen the widget.
"No phone number found"
Add a phone number to the Lead/Contact first.
Send WhatsApp button missing
Make sure the extension is installed and active. Reinstall the latest version from your private link.
Widget opens blank
Reinstall the latest extension version, then hard-refresh the record page.
